Berjalan menuju deretan para juri yang sudah sepuh-sepuh, Musa tampak tegang. Dia menoleh ke belakang melihat ke arah deretan tamu. Seketika senyumnya mengembang. Senyum anak-anak.
Langkahnya lebih pasti. Dia ambil kertas di depan meja dan diserahkan ke juri. Sang panitia masih menuntunnya menuju kursi peserta lomba hafalan Quran dunia yang digelar di Jeddah, 2014 lalu.
Rupanya dia mencari ayahnya diantara deretan tamu. Sang ayah segera bergeser mencari tempat duduk yang bisa terlihat langsung dari tempat duduk Musa. " Saat itu tempat duduk saya terhalangi dekorasi panggung, jadi saya bergeser," kata Hanafi, ayah Musa mengenang kejadian itu.
Dari kertas yang ada di tangan, juri membacakan sebuah penggalan ayat dari Kitab Suci Al Quran..., lalu berhenti. Musa diminta melanjutkan. Si bocah itu melanjutkan dengan suara cadelnya secara lancar. Juri kembali membacakan surat yang lain. Kali ini Musa pun bisa melanjutkan tanpa kesulitan.
Bukan cuma dua kali, beberapa surat dari juz yang berbeda ternyata bisa dilibas dengan aman oleh Musa. Juri terperangah. Kagum. Sedangkan penonton ada yang tersenyum manggut-manggut meresapi lantuan ayat-ayat Alquran yang dibacakan Musa. Juri tak ragu lagi. Bocah asal Bangka Belitung, Indonesia itu dipastikan hafal 30 juz dalam Al Quran tanpa terkecuali.
Dari jarak 50 meter di depan panggung, ayah Musa yang sehari-harinya menjadi petani, justru terlihat tegang saat penampilan putra sulungnya itu.
" Saat dipanggil maju memang gugup. Karena ia tidak bisa jauh dari saya. Ketika dituntun panitia ke panggung, ia selalu menengok melihat saya. Jadi saya berusaha agar terlihat dia terus. Agar dia tenang. Alhamdulillah, ia berhasil menyelesaikan hafalan dengan baik," kata Hanafi menceritakan peristiwa membanggakan itu kepada Dream, Rabu 29 Juli 2015.
Juri sepakat memberikan nilai istimewa, 90.83 dari angka 100 yang menjadi nilai sempurna. Musa memang hanya menempati peringkat 12 diantara 25 remaja lain yang menjadi peserta. Menurut juri, Musa kalah dari sisi penilaian makhroj (lafal), karena masih cadel. Tapi dari segi hafalan, Musa memang istimewa.
Menurut sang ayah yang berprofesi sebagai petani, Musa saat tampil sedikit kelelahan, karena ia tetap menjalani puasa Ramadan. Sedangkan peserta lain rata-rata memilih tidak saum. " Tapi Musa tetap mau berpuasa. Jadi mungkin ia agak capek," ujar Hanafi yang juga guru mengaji.

Kemampuan ajaib Musa rupanya 'menyihir' para ulama Negeri Petro Dolar itu. Mereka sekeluarga diminta tetap tinggal di sana. Tetapi Hanafi menolak. Sebab, keluarga Musa lebih kerasan tinggal di negeri sendiri.

Sekembali ke Tanah Air, Musa kian sohor. Sebelumnya, ia sudah jadi 'buah bibir' saat ikut lomba menghafal Alquran di salah satu stasiun televisi nasional. Kala itu, ia baru bisa menghafal 29 juz Alquran.
Tapi aksi Musa sungguh memukau. Juri dan penonton sampai meneteskan air mata, menangis haru. Bahkan, salah satu juri, Amir Faishol, pakar tafsir Alquran, spontan melangkah menghampirinya. Juri itu mencium tangan dan kening Musa.
Tak heran banyak orang makin penasaran dengan kemampuan bocah yang bercita-cita menjadi pilot. Para orangtua bahkan ingin anaknya seperti Musa.
Undangan Musa tampil sebagai bintang tamu di berbagai acara keagamaan serta pengajian datang silih berganti. Tak cuma dalam negeri, tapi juga negera tetangga, Malaysia.
" Diundang ke Malaysia sepekan setelah pulang dari Jeddah. Di sana bertemu hafiz yang sudah dewasa. Mereka kagum melihat langsung kemampuan Musa, karena selama ini cuma bisa liat dari video saja," kata Hanafi.
Musa tidak terbebani gelar hafiz yang kini disandang. Sebagaimana layaknya bocah, dia sangat senang manakala disodori mainan. Selalu bergelayut manja di kaki sang ayah, malu-malu ketika kebanjiran permintaan foto bersama oleh warga saat menghadiri sebuah acara.
Lazimnya seorang bocah, waktu bermain juga menjadi kebutuhan yang tak bisa diabaikan. Untuk itu, setiap empat hari, orangtuanya meliburkan pelajaran menghafal Alquran dan memberi Musa kesempatan bermain seharian.
Saat rehat menghafal, Musa bermain bersama dua adiknya, Luqman-Hindun serta teman-teman di rumah. Dari main mobil-mobilan, kereta dan bola. Untuk pendidikan, kMusa disekolah dengan metode homeschooling.
" Sempat dengar ada komentar saya memporsir Musa. Musa seperti anak seumurannya. Ia tetap diberikan waktu bermain dengan asupan gizi cukup. Tapi yang terpenting ia selalu belajar agama, terutama Alquran."

Proses Musa menjadi hafiz tidak seperti yang dibayangkan kebanyakan orang. Sejak usia dua tahun, ia telah diperkenalkan huruf-huruf hijaiyah. Metodenya sederhana. Sang ayah hanya menempel satu atau dua huruf hijaiyah di dinding untuk selalu diulang-ulang oleh Musa.
Setelah Musa hafal, Hanafi mulai memperdengarkan kaset murottal (pembacaan) Alquran. Setiap kali, ia menyetel kaset tersebut Musa ternyata senang. Sangat antusias menirukan, kata pria 34 tahun itu mengenang.
Namun saat beranjak usia 3,5 tahun, Musa pernah merasa bosan. Tak berbeda layaknya anak seumurannya, ia lebih suka bermain dan kadang suka ngambek.
Musa yang kala itu masih balita selalu menangis saat diajak mengaji. Namun sang ayah tetap saja memberi Musa pelajaran menghafal Alquran dengan dibantu oleh penghafal Alquran, Sabilar Rosyad.
Bagian pertama yang diajarkan kepada Musa adalah surat terakhir Alquran, yakni An Naas. Durasi Musa untuk menghafal Qul a’udzu birobbinnaas (ayat pertama surat An Naas yang berarti; Katakanlah, aku berlindung dari Tuhan manusia) butuh setidaknya satu pekan.
Saat berhasil menghafal ayat kedua, Musa lupa bagaimana bunyi ayat pertamanya, sehingga hafalan harus diulang dari awal. Surat An Naas itu mungkin bisa ratusan kali diulang oleh ayahnya.
Metode talqin atau membacakan hafalan hanya dilakukan selama dua tahun dan menghasilkan hafalan dua juz 'saja', juz 30 dan 29. Ayahnya mengajari Musa menghafal dari belakang, yakni dari juz 30 hingga 18. Kemudian, dia melanjutkan pelajaran menghafal dari juz 1.
Di usianya yang keempat tahun, Musa sudah bisa membaca Alquran sehingga proses hafalan jadi lebih ringan dari sebelumnya. Musa mulai bisa belajar mandiri. Setiap hari ia mampu menghafal 2,5 lebar (5 halaman) quran dan diperdengarkan di depan ayahnya.
Peran sang ibu, Yulianti juga sangat besar dalam membentuk Musa sebagai penghafal Alquran dan Hadis. Saban hari Umi Yuli tak pernah melewatkan waktu mengajar Musa. Padahal, pekerjaan rumah tangga lainnya yang juga berat tetap dijalani sang bunda.
" Istri saya mengajar Musa tidak pernah luput. Bahkan lahirnya Musa itu sepulang dari majelis taklim. Itu saking semangatnya istri saya mengajar Musa," kata Hanafi.
Kedua orangtua Musa bukanlah hafiz. Mereka juga awalnya tidak yakin putranya mampu. Namun, dia dan sang istri memantapkan niat untuk menjadikan Musa seorang hafiz, karena Musa memiliki daya ingat sangat kuat.
" Insya Allah saya dan istri bertekad menjaga Musa agar tetap bisa konsisten. Agar Musa bisa bermanfaat untuk agama Islam dan umat Islam," kata pria berusia 34 tahun, yang mengaku jika kedua adik Musa juga mengikut jejak sang kakak sebagai Hafiz.
